Paul H. Sweeney
Paul H. Sweeney graduated cum laude from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts, and obtained his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Sweeney served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of California. The United States Department of Justice also employed him as an Assistant United States Attorney for the federal Central District of California, based in Los Angeles, where he handled matters for the federal government before the United States District Court and the federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. These included matters for the United States Department of the Treasury and Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the United States Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the United States Secret Service.
Mr. Sweeney established his private law practice in 1973.
Mr. Sweeney is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court, as well as all state courts in the State of California.
